I recently discovered the push/pull and the random transform functions in blenders object/transform menu and used them to create this animation

dancing array
for this animation I made some boxes dance around a curve

reverse smoke
For this animation I rendered a blender smoke simulation and reverted the frames before combining them to a video to make it look like the smoke gets sucked back into the deformed cube

cube particles
I made a short animation using cubic particles and some force fields (again :-) )

displace curve mesh
For this animation I used a blender circle and a cycles material with an animated displacement texture. The separated faces in the first halve of the animation are a wired result of the subdivide checkbox - not really what I expected from a function called "subdivide" but I really like it

I played with the particle info node and used the velocity direction and magnitude to create the color of the boid particles for this animation

for this animation I used a particle system and an ico spehere with a wireframe material as a collision object

For this animation I used a displacement- and a remesh-modifier. The treshold and the oct tree values are animated slowly

For this animation I used a particle system that uses a metaball as particle object. The metaball system has a material with an SSS shader. The only light source is placed above the particle emitter
