bTrace Cell-fracture experiment
For this animation animation I combined a cell-fracture explosion and some particle traces using the bTrace addon. To make the shards of the plane move I placed a force field below the shards and turned the gravity off. The particles are not influenced by the force field, but by a turbulence field placed above the plane.

fluffy spiral
For this animation I created a spiral curve and turned into a mesh. Then I used a build modifier and a skin modifier to create the base mesh for the hair particles to grow on. Unfortunately the hair particles shift when the underlying mesh grows - hence the "slash hammer" effect

lots of particles
for this animation I used 150000 particles and the molecular addon by Jean-Francois Gallant

particle grid glitter
For this animation I turned a curve into a mesh and subdivided it several times. Then I placed particles of different sizes at the vertices and used a field to dissolve it

growing particles
I have made another experiment with the bTrace addon and the cycles subsurface scattering shader node

glowing particles
For this animation I used two particle systems, a hair particle system using a blender hair material node and a second one using a icosphere with an emission material

floating spheres
At first I wanted to make new Desktop image for my computers, but that I started to animate the spheres and made them float away

particle impact
This animation was created with a particle system thats placed around the sphere and a dynamic paint modifier on the particles and the sphere

btrace tentacles
This animation was created using a particle set that is influenced by two force fields. The tentacles have been created using the bTrace addon

spikes from hair particles
In this animation I tried more extreme settings in the cycles hair rendering to create some growing spikes.
