For this animation I combined the particle cluster nodes with a iso-surface from the cubesurfer addon

I used to particle systems on an icosphere which gets moved around and keyframed at various locations. The first particle system has 1000 particles which live 50 frame each. These are fed to the animation node "network from particles"-Template. I also used another ico-shere as the particle object.
The second particle system has 500 particles. These particles are used by the iso-surface to create the fluid mesh. They are also only living for 50.
