CookieCutter-Editor v2.0

Nikolaus Gradwohl2010-11-26T02:02:00+00:00

I made a new version of my cookiecutter-editor.

Designs can be saved now and the node-count can be adjusted to your needs. I also exported a linux, a Macos X and a Windows version of the processing sketch.

Projektpage and Download Links

Go to the Projekt page and download the editor - because NOW is the right time of the year to desing your CookieCutters!

Wow. Would love to use this on my Up3D! printer but the STL does not seem to include the raft so my extruder creates a tangle.

Can this be adjusted or remedied?

    Thanks

    Rich

    Richard,

    1. Open stl in Meshmixer (freeware).

    2. Add "mouse ears" stls created in favorite modeler, just 1mm high semi-circular pads. Push them in at exterior points until touching main piece, stops edge curling and pull up without big rafts, and easy to clean up after printing.

    Not a new idea.

Importing into Cura, it does a fill. Like it doesn't recognize the "sides" as being thin....
