I got my Synth.BT package from the kickstarter I participated a while ago on monday - so yesterday I soldered, cut and sanded my passive modular helper thingies and printed the official box for them :-)

Can't wait to use them in a Patch - so music is in the making ;-)

When I was playing with my mother32 and dfam the last time I ran out of mults and started to research passive utilitie modules for my modular - especially diy options but I didn't build them - I ran into this kickstarter project by Robert Jordan and backed it instead :-)

a new synth track exploring the infinte phase space of sonic possibilities

I recorded a new track in bitwig-studio. The main melody develops from multiple arpeggio motives playing against each other in a layered instrument - I mapped my LaunchControl to the macro controls of the layer instrument so I can blend and change the layers currently playing.

I have added a new gadget to my studio - eeeehm - desk, a passive mini mixer with 3 inputs for my volca synths. I´ve soldered together 4 mini 3.5 cm stereo jacks, 3 stereo potentiometers and 6 10kOhm resistors. Unfortunately I only had potentiometers laying around that need to be soldered to a circuit board to gain stability and they where really wobbly with my rats-nest cabling. So I used some sugru to keep them in place.

I also noticed that components that are upside down have their left and right side inverted :-/ so my knobs turn in the wrong direction now ... (just as a warning to others)

This weekend i finished soldering my Digital Oscilloscope Kit from jyetech.com

reallly, really cool new toy - aeh tool :-)
