I rewired all the stuff thats currently on my desk to separate the usb and midi cables form the audio cables because there was a hissing sound that annoyed me for about a year. To test if my wacom tablet still works I made this sketch of a comic bird in mypaint

This is the koala livin in the zoo of Vienna. I made a photo of him 2 years ago. I painted the image using MyPaint and a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

I got a new bamboo-tablet recently and this is the first image I made using it.

I updated my myPaint installation to 1.0 and this is one of my first sketches I made with it.

I really like the scratchpad and the new layer-modes.

I made another dragon with MyPaint

I used my drawing from yesterday to model a ghost in blender. I used a transparent hollow object as an obstacle for the smoke simulator - which was kind of tricky because you have to make sure the smoke-emitter is significant smaller than the obstacle or else the smoke particles get stuck in the obstacle

I doodled with MyPaint again. I really like that you can rotate a drawing, just like you would with a sheet of paper.

I played a bit with myPaint today because - yeah! - my I finally got my wacom tablet running on my ubuntu box. I really like myPaint for sketching - its fun to use and it has amazing brushes.
