bTrace experiment - connected

Nikolaus Gradwohl2015-04-13T06:29:47+00:00

For this animation I used the bTrace addon to create a curve connecting all particles from a particle set and second set of curves connecting the particles to the emitter

freestyle btrace

Nikolaus Gradwohl2015-01-21T06:12:36+00:00

I wanted to test how well freestyle works with curves in cycles so I made a particle system and traced them using the bTrace addon. Works pretty well :-)

bTrace Cell-fracture experiment

Nikolaus Gradwohl2014-05-26T06:10:21+00:00

For this animation animation I combined a cell-fracture explosion and some particle traces using the bTrace addon. To make the shards of the plane move I placed a force field below the shards and turned the gravity off. The particles are not influenced by the force field, but by a turbulence field placed above the plane.

growing particles

I have made another experiment with the bTrace addon and the cycles subsurface scattering shader node

fix particle curves

Nikolaus Gradwohl2013-10-28T06:18:42+00:00

For this animation I placed a particle set with no physic simulation on a small meth and create one particle per vertex. Then I animated the meth and created curves using the bTrace plugin from the particle positions

This is another animation I made with the blender bTrace addon.
