I made a video for a song I recorded in november using the technique I showed In my blog post on quaternoid rotations

I created bell sounds in bitwig-studio using a short noise pulse and some resonator banks. This is the first track I'm using them on

A first short test recording using my new waldorf streichfett. The bass track is made using a volca bass.

For this animation I used an "Evaluate Sound"-Node to animate boxes placed on a circle

An electronic track using the u-he ACE plugin, a Yamaha B55 organ. Recorded and mixed in bitwig-studio

For this experiment I used the sound visualizer nodes form the animation nodes addon I have been asked for tutorials a lot lately and so I added a view screenshots and descriptions to explain how I achieved the effect.

the song I used for the animation is called "The Long Dawn - Part II" and can be found on soundcloud

To analyze the audio material you need a "Sound Bake" and a "Evaluate Sound" node. I also created a copy of the default cube for each bar I wanted in my animation using an "Object Instancer". The strenghts list and the object list are fed to a loop.

I made a new ambient track in bitwig-studio featuring 4 artificial voices exploring opposite pairs

for this animation I used the "simple sound controller"-template from the animation nodes addon to control some objects by music. I rendered the 3 animations separately and cut them to the beat using the VSE

The track is recorded and mixed using bitwig-studio
