blender curve experiements - fuze
For this part of my blender curve experiments I animated a fuze using dynamic paint and a particle system

Blender Monster Tutorial - material animation
I made a video tutorial showing how to animate a material in cycles. The tutorial is presented by my one-tooth-monster.
This is my first videotutorial for blender - so critics/suggestions/hints/.. are welcome.
blender curve experiments - spirals
for this part of my blender curve experiments I used a build modifier and an array modifier to make some spirals grow and join each other

blender curve experiments - following a path
in this part of my blender curve experiments I made the camera follow a curve

animated blender modifier
This is a testvideo where I used a remesh modifier and a smooth modifier and animated some of the parameter

spooky wood
The trees of this spooky wood where generated while playing with the new knife tool.
The scene has no active light source. I only used ambient occlusion to make the trees visible

blender curve experiments - extrude
for this part of my blender curve experiments I played with the extrude parameter and a deform modifier

one-tooth-monster
I modeled a one-tooth-monster using blender 2.63. I used the new knife-tool for the first time and I love it.
I haven't rigged it yet, maybe I will use it for some animations later

animated cycles material - part 3
This is another animated cycles material. I used a voronoi-texture that uses the generated texture-coordinates as its input.
To animate the cells I add a rgb value to the vector of the texture-coordinate output.
This works since the rgb values are vector values themselve and by animating the color you can shift the texture coordinates around.

blender curve experiment - curly hair with cycles
First of all - no, cycles still has no hair or particle renderer - BUT To render short hair that doesn't need hair-dynamics you can use object groups to render the hair.
I made some spirales and deformed them using the proportional editing tool with random influence, grouped them together and used them as dubliobjects in a hair particle system on the head figure
The need to have a bevel value and bevel has to be set to full for this to work.
Still not perfect, because of the lack of hair-dynamics, but very nice for some cartoony characters or still images.
