particle grid glitter
For this animation I turned a curve into a mesh and subdivided it several times. Then I placed particles of different sizes at the vertices and used a field to dissolve it

first Volca Keys song
I bought a Volca Keys from Korg yesterday and recorded a short test sequence using ardour. All sounds are unprocessed except for a parametric equalizer to remove a high pitched hiss from the recording (damn you usb cable!). The only thing not from the volca keys is a basedrum sample.
The keys is a really awesome sounding little box.
ocean wobble
For this animation I placed an ocean modifier on an icosphere in displace mode. Doesn't look like a wave but makes very interesting deformations.

Lego AT-AT-Walker Raspberry PI case
I modified my LEGO AT-AT walker model a bit and removed the storm-troopers that where sitting inside (who are obviously very incompetent, because they can't even make the walker stand up again after it drops to its knees) and made replaced them with a Raspberry PI.
Now I have an AT-AT-Walker Raspberry PI Lego case - Very awesome :-)
little planet
To create this little toy planet I only used an icosphere and a cycles material with a displacement texture, several math nodes and a color ramp for coloring the mountains

new Pictures for my Livingroom
I created a new set of pictures for my livingroom using a small processing script.
The script generates a pattern of circles and saves it as a pdf files each time a key is pressed

I recorded a new song in my homestudio today. For this tune I used some iPad synths for the first time.
cycles material deform
I experimented again with the blender material displacement output for this animation. I used a displacement modifier to make coarse modifications and a blender material with a displacement texture for the finer ripples. I really like the new displacement settings that got introduced in 2.69
