connected spheres
A bunch of connected spheres created using a skin modifierer and a particle system

fix particle curves
For this animation I placed a particle set with no physic simulation on a small meth and create one particle per vertex. Then I animated the meth and created curves using the bTrace plugin from the particle positions

crawl on a sphere
For this short animation I created a fluid particle system that crawls on a sphere in a no gravity setting and traced the particles using the btrace plugin

tentacle blob
For this animation I combined the blender Metaball objects with the cycles hair renderer

Day 3 of 30DaysOfCreativity 2013 - Particle Curves 2
For this animation I used the blender btrace plugin to create curves from particles. The plugin is marked as experimental but it worked pretty well.
This is my Day 3 project for 30DaysOfCreativity

Day 2 of 30DaysOfCreativity 2013 - Particle Curves
This animation was created with blender hair particles. I made the bottom size of the hair strands really big and animated the start value. This is also my Day 2 project for 30DaysOfCreativity
I have no idea why the end positions of the curve move when the start value is animated, but I like the effect.

light particle trail
For this animation I made a sphere bounce of a surface using the bullet physics engine of blender. The light trail was created using a particle system without gravity and a small light source as a particle

keyed particles
I created a small figure using the skin modifier and used it as a target for a keyed particle system. The glowing effect was created using a glare filter in the compositor.

slime
I used a mball as a particle object and created a translucent cycles material to look it more slimiee

cube town wallpaper
The wallpaper I used on my desktop started to get a bit boring, so I created a new one using blender. The main light-source of the render is Ambient Occlusion and a small point light near the horizon.
